In April we joined
thousands of young activists in Washington D.C. to demand clean energy
and a sustainable future. We rallied together against big oil
and coal and called out our elected representatives who are selling our
children's future for monetary gain. It was inspiring and
empowering to be a part of a movement of (mostly) young people growing
across this nation as a political force that will stand up for the
environment, sustainability and social justice.
Check out the video filmed by Seven and you can also watch the
speeches, including the keynote by Van Jones:

"Oh
Beautiful for smoggy skies, insecticided grain, For
strip-mined
mountain's majesty above the asphalt plain. America,
America,
man sheds his waste on thee, And
hides the
pines with billboard signs, from sea to oily sea."
